Clinton picks Senator Kaine for veep

Senator Kaine, a consummate politician has been named by Secretary Clinton as her vice presidential pick after she placed a call to the reputable senator at about 7.30 pm on Friday night.

Senator Tim Kaine is a Democratic Party Senator representing Virginia who rose from City Councillor to Mayor, Lieutenant-Governor and Governor of Virginia before going to the Senator. He has a catholic background and speaks Spanish fluently. At the Senate, Sen. Tim serves in the Senate Foreign Relations and Armed Forces Committee. He is known to have opposed any unilateral military action in Iraq or Syria by the Executive  without any congressional support.

The Virginia Senator has a more pro-choice approach despite his catholic faith. Senator Tim's rose to spotlight during the Virginia Tech massacre after he cut short his foreign trip to return to his state and led the voice for reforming gun control. Apparently, his voice would be indispensable at this moment of chaos amid police brutality

After putting a call across to Senator Kaine, Clinton then tweeted who her choice of running mate is. "I am thrilled to announce my running mate, @TimKaine, a man who's devoted his life to fighting for other. -H".

It is believed that the choice of Sen. Tim would bring stability to Clinton's presidential bid. He is expected to rally the Latino, catholic, and Virginia voters for Clinton.
