18 year old Iranian-German Behind the Munich Shooting

Munich Shooting
While official reports are yet clueless as to the motive behind the Friday attack in Munich, the identity of the suspect behind the terrorism has been uncovered. He is an eighteen-year old German with Iranian ancestry and dual citizenship.

The assailant has been described as a six-foot black hair and bearded teenager who has a history of mental illness and obsessed with mass shooting. The shooter is Ali Sonboly. Apparently knowing that there was no escaping of what would befall if caught, suspect committed suicide within the Munich shopping centre.

It was initially suspected that the shooters were about three who had escaped from the scene of the crime, prompting a lock down of all means of transportation. But after the situation was brought to normalcy, it was revealed thus far that only this one identified shooter was involved in the nightmarish Friday evening.

There is yet no clue as why the suspect carried out such as dastardly act but there are speculations that the attack may either be due to an anti-immigration sentiment as the suspect was heard shouting "bloody foreigners" in a barbarian German accent while wielding what seemed to be a semi-automatic rifle, or a radicalized religious view. However, no terrorist group had claimed responsibility of the massacre that claimed 10 lives including that of the shooting and injured more than 26 persons.

A message was posted online in Arabic thus: "no where is safe for all of you. You have opened the doors of hell by declaring war on us." In recent days there has been an increase in terrorist attacks from Orlando, to Nice, Baghdad and Turkey and now  Munich. Most of these are however not carried out by ISIS or any terror group but there are speculations that most have been inspired by these terror groups.

These attacks, especially in Europe, raises concern about claims that ISIS has infiltrated the West through the refugee crises created due to the war in Syria and Iraq.
