Sad news from Munich as terror agents strike again killing not less than 5 persons

Munich under siege
Barely four days after an Afghan teenage migrant stabbed and injured about five persons aboard a train in Bavaria, another attack - in this instance on large scale involving about 3 persons wielding what is presumed to be semi-automatic rifles - has been witnessed in the capital city of Munich at the Olympia Shopping Centre. The shooting began around 5.50pm (Munich time).

Speaking to pressman some hours ago, the Munich Police Chief said that the police received an emergency call from a member of the public informing them of the incident of which the police rapidly responded to. According to the Police Chief, the situation "looks like a terror attack", In the words of the Police Chief, the situation is regarded as terrorism because of the type of gun employed by the shooters.

While the tension remains unresolved, the public transportation system has been locked down and all residents near the area have been advised to stay indoors while the police continues the search for the gunmen who are still at large at the moment. Helicopters have been deployed to aid in locating the shooters.

The police chief confirms that the information at their disposal are still "contradictory", thus pleading with the public to avoid public places in the nearest future.

"For your own safety, avoid squares and streets: perpetrators are on the run. Train and bus transport routes suspended. Turn radio and TV on," the statement reads.

The reason behind the targeting of the shopping mall cannot be exaggerated following the traffic of humans that troop into and through the mall located in northern Munich and close to BMW factory. It has been described as the biggest shopping centre in Munich and a major transit hub.

The attack on Munich had been forewarned by both German and French authorities who had warned that ISIS is planning massive attacks in Europe following its lose at battlefields in Irag and Syria where it (ISIS) is locked in battle with a US-led coalition.

Our thoughts are with the people of Munich
