Islamic Group Claims Responsibility of the Callous Attack at Manchester Arena

An Islamic Group had claimed responsibility of a very wicked attack that left scores dead and many injured at Manchester Arena. While leaving details sketchy and open for additional propaganda, the outlaw group confirmed the initial suspicion of the GM Police that the explosion was a terrorist attack. However, the outlawed group did not mention that the perpetrator in fact blew up himself to achieve his dastardly intention. A US top intelligence officer however added that US is yet to verify the claim of the Islamic group.

The attack has been described as the deadliest terrorist attack in UK since four suicide bombers killed about 52 persons in a London subway train and bus in 2005.
The British government has suspended campaigning for the forthcoming national election in honor of the victims, while the Prime Minister lends her voice of support for the victims and condemnation for the callous attack. According to Prime Minister May, "we struggle to comprehend the warped and twisted mind that sees a room packed with young children not as a scene to cherish but as an opportunity for carnage." Her Imperial Majesty, in the company of her husband Prince Philip, her son Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, similarly marked a moment of silence in honor the victims.

The police believes that the suicide bomber, whose identity is yet to be disclosed, did not act alone. Hence, they have commenced a full-blown investigation and search for any accomplices. One person has thus far being arrested in connection with the explosion.

Ariana Grande was not injured but is broken by the attack. The pop star tweeted thus: "broken. from the bottom of my heart, i am so so sorry. i don't have words." The show is part of her ongoing world tour themed the "Dangerous Woman" in promotion of her latest album of the same name. She was scheduled to perform in London on Thursday and Fridaybefore departing for Switzerland, Poland, France, Germany, Belgium and some parts of Latin America and Asia.
