86 year-old Catholic Church Priest Beheaded in front of an Altar by ISIS Terrorists

Rev. Fr. Jacques
An elderly Catholic Church priest was Tuesday slaughtered right in front of the Eucharistic Altar of a Catholic Church of Gambetta in Saint-Etienne-du-Rouvray while officiating a morning mass. In a hostage taking cum murder incident, two Islamic State fighters stormed the serene Catholic Church were they took about 5 persons hostage including the murdered priest.

The 86-year-old priest identified as Rev. Fr. Jacques Hamel was forced to kneel down before the altar and his throat slit. The pathetic terrorist filmed the process after which one of them made a-sermon-like statement right on the Eucharistic altar in Arabic.

A nun who escaped the scene after the police stormed the scene and killed the two Islamic State fighters actually made these revelation. "The forced... to his knees. He wanted to defend himself, and that's when the tragedy happened... They recorded themselves. They did a sort of sermon around the altar in Arabic. It is a horror," the visibly frightened nun, Sr. Danielle, managed to say.

ISIS has already taken responsibility of the attack just hours after the attack. The terrorist group accepted the responsibility through the IS-linked Amaq news agency. They stated that the attack was carried out by two "IS soldiers". The identity of one of the terrorists has been revealed. He is a 19-year-old ex-convict Adel Kemirche. After his release from prison on March 2 this year, he was ordered to always have an electronic tag fixed on his right ankle and live constantly with his mother. Apparently he was able to let loose of the tag with the police knowledge. Abel carried out with another man in his 20s identified as Abdelmalik Petitjean.

Meanwhile, the 86-year-old priest, ordained priest in 1956 has been fondly described as "a good priest" and one who is "so much loved".

It has been revealed that the Catholic Church is one of the churches and places earmarked by the Islamic State for attack. This revelation was made Sid Ahmed Ghlam, a 24-year-old Algerian born who was arrested last year in Paris with Islamic State ties. A document found in his possession contained names of locations marked out for attack by the Islamic State for possibly attack, one of which Ghlam was to actively participate in.

French President on Tuesday visited the scene of the crime where he expressed his dismay and declared "war" on ISIS. "Daesh has declared war on us. We have to win that war," French President Hollande said.
