Surgery gone bad as doctor cuts off patient's "private" and throws it in a thrash can

Medical mistake
Dr Marwan Farouk of BMI Chiltern Hospital, Buckinghamshire may have gotten what he bargained for after a surgery to repair a hernia and remove a cyst from a patient went terribly wrong.

The incident occurred at the BMI Chiltern Hospital in April 2014 when mistakenly cut off the left testicle of his patient. In a bid to hide is mistake, he threw the human organ in a thrash bin and subsequently and willfully cut off the remaining right test*cle.

However, instead of telling his patient what had happened, he lied to him that his test*cles were small.

"You have a small right test*cles but it won't give you any problems," he told the patient.

Dr. Farouk Marwan has consquently been banned by the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) after the body ruled that Dr. Farouk had been dishonest in his medical practice. During the hearing of the complaint, Farouk admitted to the chopping off the test*cles of his patient and lying to him too  so as to cover his mistakes.

In its ruling, the MPTS condemned Farouk's conduct and stated thus: "As an experienced surgeon even on a cursory examination, you must have recognized the specimen for what it was."
