Canadian Lady dies after kissing her boyfriend

Myriam Ducre, who died of food allergy after sharing a kiss with boyfriend
Love is expected to give life and happiness, but to Myriam Ducre-Lemay, it brought her untimely death. Myriam who was allergic to peanut butter was not in the relationship that led to her death long enough to warn her boyfriend of her peanut allergy.
Prior to sharing a goodnight kiss with her boyfriend whose name is yet to be disclosed, the boyfriend had a late-night sandwich with peanut butter, but brushed his teeth afterwards. However, Myriam started experiencing shortness of breath afterwards, which prompted her to ask her boyfriend whether he took peanut butter which agreed to.

At this point, she went for her adrenaline pen, but the condition did not improve. Thus, prompting her to tell the boyfriend to call 911. However, she died of anoxia despite efforts by paramedics to resuscitate her.

According to her mother, Micheline Ducre, Myriam was happily in love.

“Everything was going well in her life,” the mother said. “She told me she was in love. It was the first time I saw my daughter with such bright eyes.

“Sadly, she did not have the time to tell him she had a peanut allergy,” the mother said with tears

Micheline Ducre tells the story of the death of her daughter which occurred in 2012 in order to raise awareness on the need to let those around you know the allergies. This include carrying an EpiPen or wearing a medical alert bracelet.
