Tom Cruise Has Disconnected with Daughter, Suri, for more than 1000 days

It is reported by In Touch Weekly, that famous Hollywood actor and one of the now-most-eligible bachelors of the movie industry has not had any form of communication with his now 10 year old daughter, Suri.


According to the source, after his divorce with his ex-wife, Katie Holmes in 2012, Katie Holmes won the custody of the only scion of the marriage, Suri. While the father and daughter communicated most times through grape-vines, like Skype initially, there is now widening gulf between Tom Cruise and his only biological child.

Although Tom had been married prior to his marriage to Katie Holmes in November 18, 2006, his  only biological child is Suri. His earlier marriage with Nicole Kidman produced no biological child, but they both adopted Isabelle and Conner, 23 and 21 respectively.

In Touch Weekly claimed that his excuse for such pronounced disconnect with Suri is due to his busy tight schedule which revolves round movie making. The source is quoted as saying "He uses his film commitments as an excuse, but the truth is that doesn't hold much weight with Suri anymore". However, there are speculations that his "disaffection" is due to his affiliation to Scientology which preaches as part of its principles a disconnection with members who have left the church. Since Katie was a member of the Church prior to their divorce, it is believed that disconnect with his daughter is not unconnected with his adherence to the tenets of Scientologhy, as he is reported to "breath", "eat" and "sleep" with the Church. More over, upon the break of his marriage with Nicole, he single-handedly raised Isabelle and Conner.
