While the media continues to be frenzied by the news of the release of one of the kidnapped "Chibok girl", former minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and one of the campaigners of the #BringBackOurGirls campaign have lashed out on media outfits that refers to the man found with "Amina Alli" as her husband.
In her tweet, she referred to the man as a "PREDATOR that violated #AminaAli". He warns that any media outfit that goes contrary to her warning to "get ready" to bear the consequences. The former world bank World Bank veepee for Africa, who is now a strong human rights activist and political critic justified her statement by saying that the Chibok girl's family never gave out the "hand of their daughter in marriage to anyone"

We reported earlier that the missing girl was found with a baby and a man who claimed to be her husband. In the Northern part of Nigeria, just like some other parts, for a traditional or cultural marriage to be valid in the sight of the law, the bride's parents ought to be in support and should been seen as overtly given out the hand of their daughter in marriage to the groom.
However, the man in question whose name has been given as "Hayatu" is said to be one of the dreaded leaders of the Boko Haram with the pseudonym"Amir". In two conflicting statements, the man had claimed to also be a victim of terrorist kidnap. However, he later told some reporters in Nigeria that
"hunger and ill health forced him to surrender as they were starving to death following the blocking of Boko Haram’s food supply routes by the military"
The Nigeria army force is currently investigating his role in the Boko Haram terrorism
