At the end, Tito Ortiz will look back and be grateful  for the fight as he has salvaged the last of the devils in his career: he has had a bitter rivalry with Chuck Liddell throughout his career.

According to Ortiz after the fight, he was not going to allow Chuck take him out after eights outside the cage:
"You are not coming back after eight years outside the cage to take me out. Hell no!," he said.
Meanwhile, Tito Ortiz had been expected to win the fight by MMA fans who felt that the fight should neither have been staged nor been a pay-per-view fight. Chuck Liddell (20-9), 48 years old, had his last fight before the Tito Ortiz' trilogy 2010 eight years ago, with his last MMA win being in 2007 over Wanderlei Silva.  On the other hand, Tito Ortiz has been active and had his last fight in 2017 for Bellator MMA.

Both fighters were humble after the fight, and praised each other for their skills.

Chuck Liddell makes a guaranteed $250,000 from the fight, while Tito Ortiz has a guaranteed purse of $200,000.
