Video of the new Olori of Ife preaching and delievering people, while doing her work as an evangelist and prophetess

The Nigerian media has been agog with the news of the cherished and respected Ooni of Ife taking a new wife after divorcing his ex-wife Olori Wuraola sometime in August 2017. The old marriage lasted about 17 months before the ex-wife took to social media to announce that she and the Oba were no longer couple.

About a year and some months after the announcement and the subsequent returning of Olori Wuraola's bride price, Kabiyesi Adeyeye Ogunwusi takes a new wife. This was revealed on Thursday 18 October 2018 via Instagram, when he wrote thus:

"I waited patiently upon the Almighty the King of Kings, he eventually did it in the midst of many trails.

"Shilekunola, Morenke, Naomi; the greatest Arsenal you can apply on this highly revered throne with many rules and regulations in the midst of undiluted tradition, heritage and culture is the 'Fear of God in You", which is the beginning of your wisdom on this throne of Oduduwa. You are welcome home my beautiful and adorable queen."

Besides the revealing that the Oba has taken a new, the Instagram post also reveals that the new olori was chosen because of her spirituality: she is a prophetess and an evangelist.

This is technically Oba Ogunwusi's third marriage but 2nd Olori. His first wife divorced him after he ascended the throne as Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi Ojaja II, the 51st Ooni of Ife. He then married Wurola Zynab Otiti in 2008 as his first olori, but they got divorced the traditional way when Zynab announced that she was no longer in the marriage and her bride price returned subsequently.

Ooni currently has only one child, a daughter Adeola Aanoluwapo Ogunwusi, whom he fathered at 19.
