Life, they say, is chequered. Or put differently, one man's (or woman's) gain may be another's lose. This is definitely the controversy surrounding the love life and marriage of a Nigerian man Mr. Gregory. On the one hand, his new wife is telling a story of sweetness; clothing Gregory in sugar and honey, highlighting in the most dignified way, his altruistic and courteous personality. While on the other hand, the lady ditched by Gregory for his wife just opened a can of worm on Greg's personality: a cheat, a woman beater, a gold digger and an ingrate.

The question is: who do we believe? The new wife who is still glowing with the type of emotions typical of a newly wedded, or the ditched lady who appears overtly bitter and perhaps exemplifying the saying that "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned"? We are, however, not in the position to resolve this conundrum.
