The human rights activist, Emeka Ugwuonye, arrested by the Nigerian Police Force released

We reported yesterday that one of the voices of the poor and believer in the rule of law and "due process" in Nigeria Emeka Ugwuonye was arrested yesterday by officers and men of the Nigerian Police Force in Victoria Island, Lagos State and flown to Abuja. Information reaching us today reveals that the enigmatic human rights activist has been released.

The revelation was made today by Emeka Ugwuonye who posted the information on a Facebook group "Due Process."

"I'M FREE NOW, FREE INDEED
Dear fantastic people of DPA, I want to thank you for your gallant support. I'm free because you came together and stood behind me. You're extraordinary and herdy bunch. You never accept no for an answer. I love your stubborn attitude. That saved me. God bless you all," Emeka Ugwuonye wrote.

Although the warrant of arrest that empowered the Police to arrest him stated "concealment" as the allegation against him, but since the crime is not known to the Nigerian law it is unclear what may have transpired while he was incarcerated.

However, he is free now that what matters and justice has possibly prevailed.
