His appearance on the cover of a gay magazine marks the first time any member of the Royal Family would have his or her photograph on "the cover of a gay publication", attitude magazine said.

There is no better time to show solidarity for the LGBT community than during this period that the community reels from the pains of the Orlando shooting. Telling the Attitude magazine, the Duke of Cambridge noted that "No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives."
The Prince further encouraged young people to speak out when they feel bullied by reason of their sexuality.
"What I would say to any young person reading this who's being bullied for their sexuality: don't put up with it - speak to a trusted adult, a friend, a teacher, [...] or some other service and get the help you need"He maintained that they should be "proud of the person you are and have nothing to be ashamed of"
