50 Cent and his bodyguard due to appear in Court today (Monday) in Island of St. Kitts

American rappers and businessman, Curtis Jackson, better known by his stage name 50 cents, will be appearing in court today, Monday June 27, 2016, on a criminal charge of using profanity in public. 

The criminal charge which is a misdemeanor in the former British Caribbean colony was slammed on 50 Cents on Sunday during his performance in the tourists' Island, nicknamed the "Sugar City."

50 Cents is alleged to have committed to crime during his performance where he began swearing and cursing on stage. Our source informs us that prior to the commencement of his concert, the American prolific rapper warned sternly reminded that the use of profanity is crime in the Island. But the prodigious rapper defiled the warning, and used the word "mother**er". It appears he did not know that the microphone was not off yet when he made said the word. 

He was consequently arrested. However, his bodyguard attempted to obstruct the officers of the law from proceeding with the arrest which also led to his own arrest for "obstruction of justice" and also use of profanity in public. Both were however admitted on bail, but not after the sum of EC$ 5000 was posted as bail bond with two sureties of like sum.
