Blac Chyna's suit against the Kardashians over cancelled show to go on trial

Blac Chyna's suit against the Kardashians over cancelled show to go on trial
Blac Chyna is suing the Kardashian/Jenner family over claims they damaged her career.
The suit commences a year after Rob Kardashian's ex-fiancee filed a lawsuit against the "Keeping Up With The Kardashian" stars in October 2017 for canceling her hit TV series Rob & Chyna with her then-fiance Rob Kardashian, which she argued damaged her career.

Chyna alleged that Kris, Kim, Khloé, and Kylie published defamatory things about her and kept the second season of Rob & Chyna from getting made.
Her attorney, Lisa Bloom made the announcement in a statement she released on Wednesday 28 November.
According to the statement,
'Blac Chyna has been fighting to get her day in court against Robert Kardashian, Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner.'
Chyna alleges that she was slut-shamed, defamed and the victim of a plot to kill her hit show, Rob & Chyna, causing her significant financial damages.'

The statement further alleges that the Kardashian famility had sought to avoid the law suit by filing "numerous motions with the court, seeking to have the case thrown out so that Chyna would not get to present her case at trial.'
Unfortunately for the Kardashians, the motions were fought diligently by Blac Chyna's legal teams at every step and got the court to reject "the Kardashian family’s request to strike Chyna’s entire lawsuit,' the lawyer added.
The court however, struck out portions of six paragraphs out of a 317-paragraph complaint, which according to her lawyer does not affect the crux of Black Chyna's case.
Chyna will therefore be permitted to have her day in court, as she looks forward to getting a trial date next month.
The Kardashian family's lawyer has, however, fired back. He stated that:
"the Kardashians have successfully chipped away at Ms. White’s outlandish claims since her lawsuit was filed, culminating in [Wednesday]’s hearing — a hearing at which the Court invited counsel for the Kardashians to seek attorney fees against the Bloom Firm for their failure to support Ms. White’s spurious allegations with actual evidence."

The next court date for the case is set for Monday, January 7.
