This is What Killed Legendary Singer, Prince: Opioid Overdose (Fentanyl)

Late Legendary Star, Prince

Although there is nothing official now, however investigators have revealed on the basis of anonymity that after autopsy, it is suspected that he died of a long use of Opioid. After about 45 days of the death of the legendary American singer, there is yet any official toxicology results from the investigators, but as has been suspected, an official of the investigation body revealed to Minneapolis  Star Tribune that there dosages of opioid samples found in Prince's blood and body system.

After the death of Prince on Thursday, April 21 at his residence in Paisley Park in Minnesota, the US Drug Enforcement Administration obtained a search warrant of the late singer's residence. Upon the search of the residence in May, the DEA found so many tabs of opiate painkiller Percocet. Also revealing from the investigation was his visit to a doctor a day before his death, and the call from his personal doctor's son who responded to distress call from his domestic staff on the prompt of his father (Prince's personal doctor).

While Associated Press reports that the revelation still remains unofficial and perhaps a rumor, Prince, 57, had in the past been treated of opioid overdose. In April 14, the late Grammy Award winning star's flight was redirected on his way home after a live performance in Atlanta in order to treat him of an overdose of percocet.

While investigations into the cause of his death is still under wrap, his family members have continued to vouch for his health cleanliness, denying that his overdose any prescription drug. Meanwhile his burial is expected to be in August in line with the immediate family's arrangement.
