The Cincinnati Zoo Incident: Parents Under Inverstigation After Gorilla Killing

The Parents of the  3 year old boy who fell into a gorilla's den and prompted the zoo officials to kill the gorilla in order to save the boy's life, Michelle Gregg and Deonne Dickerson may be charged to court on negligence charges.

Animal rights group and critics have blamed the parents of the boy for setting in motion the chain of events that led to Harambe's death.

However, the Cincinnati Police Department says they are still reviewing "the actions of the parents/family that led up to the incident." The police department also said they are not investigating the Cincinnati zoo, because it falls under the United State's Department Of Agriculture's purview.

The father of the child, Deonne Dickerson, was said not to be present at the zoo when the incident happened.
