Nigeria: PDP National Convention In PortHarcourt Postponed

The Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) has postponed its National Convention, which was slated to hold today in Port Harcourt.

Announcing The Postponement,Ali Modu Sheriff, The Party's National Chairman said the party had to reschedule due to the various court orders against the convention.


"We are a responsible party. We have postponed the convention until the court cases are resolved", he said while addressing newsmen Saturday afternoon at the Le Meridien Hotel, Port Harcourt.

He also reiterated that he still remained the chairman of the party.
