Former Super Eagles captain, Joseph Yobo, who recently had his testimonial match played at the Port harcourt stadium has been appointed as the Special Assistant to Governor Nyesom Wike on Sports Development.
This was contained in a statement released today by the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor on Electronic Media, Simeon Nwakaudu. The appointment is to take effect immediately.
