Some may call it nemesis, while other may brand it mistake or give it any other other name; but imagine the effect sharing a publicly sharing names of p^rn sites you have visited would have on your public image especially if you are a politician. This is the current predicament of sitting mayor in one Germany's cities: Quickborn, who mistakenly shared names of some p^rn sites he visited in screengrab while making an argument in support of an alternative for the Germany Party. To support his argument, he `screengrabbed`a Wikipedia page, unfortunately he was not careful enough to first of all close some p^rn sites he was visiting at that time, hence the tabs were `caught`in the picture.See the screenshoot after the cut.
Although he denied the incident, he later accepted responsibility but sought to ameliorate the effect by stating thus:"Yes, I visited the sites concerned." He further added that '[he] wasn't so up-to-date about that, which annoys me. They
were mentioning the site 'Xhamster', and when I got to my room I wanted
to get clued-up.' In other words, he was carrying out a series of research to be in the know about 'Xhamster' a term which he had encountered while "eavesdropping'' on a conversation between two men some days before the incident.
Well, this is a mistake that may be expensive in the future. I am yet to figure out what I could have done if I were the victim. What would you have done if you were the victim? As for Thomas Koppl, he had learned his lessons.
